The passing of Jeanne Marie Brekken of Crookston, Minnesota leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 12, 2024 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Dufault and Mayme Fournier Dufault; her husband Lyle Brekken; and her brother Richard Dufault. She is survived by: her children, Janelle Hegrenes of Chanhassen, MN, Robin Brekken (Karen) of Crookston, Scott Brekken (Jennifer) of Orono, MN and Jon Brekken (Renee) of Lakeville, MN; her grandchildren, Nick Brekken, Ben Brekken (Laura), Annie Mosiman (Matt), Karson Hegrenes, Natalie Brekken, Aaron Brekken, Karlie Deane (Max), Kayla Brekken and Kendra Brekken; her great grandchildren, Beau Brekken, Bella Brekken, Jameson Brekken and Henry Brekken; and her siblings, JoAnne Tria of Heyworth, IL and Mike Dufault (Carol) of Crookston. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (702 Summit Ave N, Crookston, MN 56716). A prayer was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
