He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Karelynn "Kari" Hedman (Neil) of Moorhead and Karl "Kip" Opgrand (Beth) of Carmel, California; his grandchildren, Allison Arvidson (Ben) of Paynesville and Erik Hedman of Excelsior, Minnesota; his great grandchildren, Henry, Jack and Carter Arvidson; and his sister Norma Opgrand of New York City.
