He was predeceased by: his daughter Kristina Gray (Torkelson); his parents, Ameel Torkelson and Ellen Torkelson; and his siblings, Evelyn Torkelson, Emmet Olson, Eleanor Hem and Ethel Bliven.
He is survived by: his wife Signe Lucile Torkelson (Aslakson); his sister Alta Brown (Torkelson); his children, Karen Solgard (Tony) of Cape Coral, FL, Katherine Majkrzak (Darrell) of Lino Lakes, MN, Tony Torkelson of Crookston, MN, Tora Meyer (Jeff) of Eagan, MN and Tim Torkelson (Kara Deden); his son-in-law Ken Gray (Kristina Torkelson); and his grandchildren, Aja Majkrzak, Elan Majkrzak, Sigrid Solgard, Tor Solgard, Zildjian Meyer, Misha Meyer, Tevin Torkelson and Ella Torkelson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be given in Glen's name to Faith Radio Station KFNW (1200AM) or St. Paul's Lutheran Church, c/o Lucile Torkelson, 217 South Main #7, Crookston, MN 56716.
