He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edwin Ray and Katie Ray; his wife Beverly Bye; his children, Jerry Ray (Jeanine) of Phoenix, AZ, Nancy Glass (Butch) of Bismarck, ND and Sharon Schiermeister (Durant) of Hazelton, ND; his grandson Joshua Ray (Evonne); his great grandchildren, Travis Bodhi, Kale and Lukas; his close friend Doris Smestad; and his granddaughter Shaunda. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
