It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denis Paul Kawlewski of Crookston, Minnesota, born in Perham, Minnesota, who passed away on January 6, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Kawlewski and Dorothy Kawlewski; his parents-in-law, Frank and Belle Donarski; his brother Roger Kawlewski; his siblings-in-law, Albert Donarski, Irvin Donarski, Leo Donarski, Frank Donarski, Jr., Ronald Donarski, Jean Marie Piper, Mary Jean Donarski, Mary Lou Gruhot, Elaine Donarski and Elaine Kawlewski; and his stepgranddaughter Starr Rogers.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Kawlewski of Crookston, Dan Kawlewski (Leann) of Crookston, Angie Kawlewski of Washougal, WA and Rod Kawlewski (Linda) of San Jose, CA; his grandchildren, Zachary Strommen of Crookston, Brock Strommen of Crookston, Cassandra Trepanier (Jared) of Bemidji, MN, Kody Kawlewski of Crookston and Blake Kawlewski of Crookston; his stepgranddaughter Sheanna Cooper (Chance) of Grassy Pond, SC; his great grandchildren, Kendra Strommen, Jayce Trepanier and Cooper Trepanier; his stepgrandchildren, Jazzlyn Doss, Parker Cooper and Charlotte Cooper; his brother Adolph; his siblings-in-law, Bernetta Donarski of Crookston, Delores Donarski and Ronald Gruhot of Crookston; and his nephews, Douglas Donarski and Terry Kawlewski. He is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
