She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Opdahl and Marie Opdahl; her sister Marilyn; her siblings-in-law, Kenny Welter, Robert Wilkens, LaVerne and Bonnie Sandberg; and also, Evdur Sandberg and Winnie Sandberg McGovern.
She is survived by: her husband Allan N. Sandberg; her daughters, Dawn (Tom Brusoe) and Heather (Joe Fehr); her grandchildren, Daisy and Raiden Fehr; and her sisters, Wanda Wilkens of Crookston and Lois (Glen Thompson). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
