It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Lee Moat of Cottonwood, Minnesota, born in Balaton, Minnesota, who passed away on December 11, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Moat and Gladys Moat (Garton); his siblings, Clara Marie Jorgensen, Wesley Moat and Lester Moat; and his son-in-law Stephen Swanson.
He is survived by: his wife Ella Moat of Cottonwood; his children, Keith Moat (Margaret) of Marshall, Jan Swanson of Marshall and Kent Moat of Carpentersville, IL; and his grandchildren, Scott Moat (Jan) of Marshall, Tanya Moat of Marshall, Shari Pumper (Jeff) of Owatonna, Jon Swanson (Wendy) of Lynd, Caitlin O'Keefe (Andrew) and Collin Moat (Stephanie Rowitz) of Los Angeles. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
