He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Vandelanotte and Agnes Vandelanotte (Meulebroeck); and his father-in-law David DeSmith. He is survived by: his wife Allison DeSmith of Cottonwood; his sons, Jonathon (McKenzie) of Montevideo, Jeremy and Jance; his grandchildren, Elijah, Reese, Jakob, Jeremy (Alissa) of Cottonwood, Gavin, Gary, Jance (Lexie) of Cottonwood, Kylie and Lincoln; and his siblings, Mark Vandelanotte (Jane) of Cottonwood, Mary Jo Katke (Mike) of Blaine, Allan Vandelanotte (Gloria) of Cottonwood, Janice Stamps (Peter) of Fort Worth, TX and Julie Vandelanotte (David Browning) of St. Paul. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

So stad, what a good man, also to me when I had the luck to spend a year in your house which changed my spoiled character into a young man that made his way in this world.
