He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clyde and Myrtle Leone Spencer; his sister Iris Hanson; his parents-in-law, LaVonne Mindrum and Donald Taylor; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Haug and Richard Bolger.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn; his daughters, Melanie Fitchett (Jason) and Amy Kemmetmueller (Kevin); his grandchildren, William Spencer Fitchett, Caden Kirby Kemmetmueller and Camden Kathryn Kemmetmueller; his sisters, Nita Haug and Mary Bolger; his parents-in-law, Herbie Hanson, Doug Taylor (Ann), Dan Taylor (Jeanne), Tammy Larkin (LeRoy Wilder) and Sandy Fournier; and his pet Sugar. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
