He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Dunn and Augusta Dunn; his wife Arlene Peterson; his daughter Rita; and his siblings, Verle, Gerald, Darlene, Carol and Joyce.
He is survived by: his children, Arnold (June), Kathy Thorvaldson (John Jr), Peggy and Timothy; his grandchildren, Chris, Eric (Maggie), John Paul III (Erin), Jackie Stemwedel (Matt) and David Cram; and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Brody, Adalyn, Owen and Shawn.
