He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Elfstrum and Grace Elfstrum (Tessmer); and his daughter Laura Elfstrum. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn; his daughter Susan Banach (Charles); his grandchildren, Ryan McClellan, Justin Banach, Kara McMahon (Tyler), Alex Hansen and Lindsey Hansen; and his siblings, Betty Hoye, Patricia Groebner (Donald), Harland Elfstrum, Charlotte Merchlewitz (David) and Alan Elfstrum. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
