Rita Pavel Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Pavel of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Blaeser and Frances Blaeser (Malack); her husband John W. Pavel; her son Jerry; and her brothers, Paul, Bill and Chuck Blaeser.

She is survived by: her children, Jan Dombrow (John), John Pavel III (Chris), Jody Meier (Jon), Jay Pavel (Dawn), Jill Bonfe (Joe), Julie Tate (Dirk), Jamie Pavel and Jenny Poepping (Pete); and her siblings, Don Blaeser (Marylou), Theresa Carufel, Barbara Turnage and Edward Blaeser (Linda). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights, MN, In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to donor's choice.
