It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Prokasky of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, who passed away on December 24, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Prokasky and Helen Prokasky (Olson); his wife Grace Peterson; and his brother Mike Prokasky. He is survived by: his children, Karen Chatterton (Mike), Carol Scott (Rick) and Keith Prokasky (Heather); and his grandchildren, Travis Scott, Joseph Chatterton (Chanell), Mitchell Chatterton (Jessica), Danielle Barnett (Tyler), Hannah Scott (Tom), Brianna Chatterton, Sami Prokasky and Ben Prokasky. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kok Funeral Home (7676 80th St S, Cottage Grove, MN 55016). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
