He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Gilsdorf and Hazel Gilsdorf (Sommers); his brothers, Donald, Lloyd, Leo and James Gilsdorf; and his son Richard "Rick" Gilsdorf, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Beaham of Elysian; his children, Donna Lorch (Ken) of Leesburg, FL, Debra Sommers (Ron) of Sleepy Hollow, IL, John Gilsdorf of New Richland and Gerald Gilsdorf (Stacy) of Oakdale; his siblings, Mark Gilsdorf (Dorothy) of St. Charles, IL, Margie Heppelmann (Ed) of Belchester, Marlene Tolzman of St. Paul and Linda Wolf (Gerald) of Kellog; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Gilsdorf of St. Paul and Iris Gilsdorf of Pensacola, FL.. He is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
