Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Nicholas Arthur Menard of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 28, on January 20, 2024. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jack, Grace Howitz, Ron and Sheryl Menard; and his cousin Steve Werner.

He is survived by: his parents, Steve Menard and Mary Menard; his aunts, Ruth Messner (Bill), Lugene Werner (Dan) and Renee Kelly (Terry); and his cousins, Andy Messner (Diane), Katie, Mark Messner, Cory, Anthony Howitz, Jillian Bailey (Eric), Paul Lewis (Megan), Krysta Werner, Krissie Thrush (Tim), Zach Fair (Robin), Megan, Alec Fair and Andy Menard.

“Steve and Mary, I shall always remember Nick's fantastic smile each time I met him. We have a poem called Heaven's Special Child that hangs in Mom & Dad's kitchen prominently displayed. I will get the poem to you. Please know God has a special place for Nick and he gave Nick to very special people to love and take care of him. Many prayers lifted and I will ask my sister Patty Ann to welcome him home.”
