It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Patrick Schanks (Cottage Grove, Minnesota), who passed away on May 1, 2018, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael and Darlene. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Wall (Aaron), Bryan (Ashley) and Keith; his grandchildren, Sophia, Lydia, Alaina and Ethan; his siblings, Lynn Schanks, Teri Evangelist (Lenny), Ron Kuchenmeister and Colleen Kuchenmeister (Gary); and his significant other Becky Spaulding. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
