It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael John Ross of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ross and Bess Ross; his wife Sharon; his son Michael David; and his brother-in-law Edwin Nelson.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory Ross (Pam) and Susan Ross (Dan Boerner); his grandson Jordan Ross (Hayley); and his siblings, Betsy Nelson, Jim Ross and Cally Ackland (Chuck).
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Rita (8694 80th St S, Cottage Grove, MN 55016). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Rita's Catholic Church (8694 80th St S, Cottage Grove, MN 55016). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
