Merle was predeceased by: grandchildren, Jessica, Melissa Denzer and Walter Brown; and parents, Reed and Lorraine Skeslien.
Merle is survived by: wife Darlene; children, Pamela Ochs (David), Patty Brown, Scott (Laureen Poisson), Cheryl Niebur (Mark) and Craig (Mary); and stepfather Marvid "Bud" Skeslien (Peggy). Merle is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren.
