He was predeceased by: his father Leonard James; and his stepson Ronald Garcia. He is survived by: his siblings, Sandy McKenzie, Karen Schaefer (Joe), Cheryl Lossing (Darold) and Greg Duren; his children, LeAnn Roberson (Frank) and James Duren (Donna); his stepson Jay Garcia; his grandchildren, Cyndi Tsypis (Mike), Roy Roen (Marita), Adam Duren, Charlie Roen (Thet), Amanda Kimball (Jesse) and Lilyanna Lofgren-Garcia; and his great grandchild Gabi Tsypis.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
