We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2019, at the age of 95, Laverne Schmidt (Cottage Grove, Minnesota), born in Eden Valley, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Geraldine, Marie, Don, Hilary and William; and her husband John Schmidt.

She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara (Don), Mary (Scott) and Lenora (Rick); her grandchildren, Jeremy (Heather) and Amy (Troy); her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Elizabeth, Annabelle, Jacob, Christian and Caleb; and her brothers, Jim (Donna) and Richard (Pat).

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to J.A. Wedum Hospice Foundation, Brooklyn Park.
