He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Rea and Edna Louise Rea; and his brother Richard "Rick" Rea. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his daughter Sherry Walkush (Bob) of St. Paul Park, MN; his grandchildren, Charlie Rea and Brandon Walkush (Ashley); his daughter Pam Rea of Circle Pines, MN; his grandchildren, Lauren Rea (Shaun), Megan Rea and Jordan Rea (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Madelyn and Layla; his grandchildren, Kailynn Rea and Wendy Nelson (Ron); his great grandchildren, Amanda Pavlak and Allan Pavlak (Rachel); his stepson Tom Richard (Kris); his stepgrandchildren, Kayley (Wyatt) and Makenzie (Matt); his extended family Mary Myers; and also, Maeve, Jenny Rau (Jamie), Aidan Rau, Elise Rau, Kevin Willie and Tallon Mickey.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kok Funeral Home & Cremation Service- Cg (7676 80th St S, Cottage Grove, MN 55016). A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
