She was predeceased by: her parents, Aurthur Bachaus and Mabel Bachaus; and her husband Gerald Strawmatt. She is survived by: her children, Stacy Gilsdorf (Gerald) and Steve Strawmatt (Katelynn); her grandchildren, Kenneth, Kendalyn Gilsdorf, Benjamin Strawmatt, Thadeus Brown-Strawmatt and Hayden Strawmatt; and her sisters, Linda Vogt and Carole Murphy (Frank).

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (8100 Belden Blvd, Cottage Grove, MN 55016). A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
