She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold; her brother Ronald Barthel; and her daughter-in-law Karen Nordman. She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey, Kevin (Jackie), Mark (Jodi) and Gary (Robin); her grandchildren, Britni, Chelsy, Olivia, Amanda, Alyssa, Victoria, Allison and Aaron; her great grandchildren, Weston, Nicholas, Addison, Maveric, Lillian, Stella, Romi, Emma, Finn and Stetson; and her sisters, Joyce Volbert, Jeannie Schmidt and Karen Lundgren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (920 Holley Ave, St Paul Park, MN 55071). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
