It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Schult of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, who passed away on December 4, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schult and Mildred Schult (Penshorn); his wife Joanne Barnes; his stepfather Carl Hovseth; his stepbrother Rudy Hovseth; his brother-in-law Hank Stack; and his parents-in-law, Charles and Helen Barnes.
He is survived by: his sons, Tom (Sheri), Jim (Nancy) and Joe (Beth); his grandchildren, Tony (Tonya), Cassie DuFresne (Adam), Scott, Jacie, Charlie (Cheyanne), Joey and Michael; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Brooks, Luca and Annie; his sister Nancy Stack; his sister-in-law Barb Hovseth; his friends, Withee Wright, Don Kealy, Clayton Blekeberg, Pat, Bud Mohwinkel, Tom McCauley and Diane Demma; and his pet Ben.
