He was predeceased by: his parents, Hjalmar and Margaret; his siblings, Lorna Mecklenburg (Charlie), Dorothy Brandt (Paul), Milton and Leonard; his son-in-law Craig Peterson; his grandson-in-law Andrew Slavik; and his great grandchild Hannah.

He is survived by: his wife Bernice "Bea"; and his children, Don (Kathy) and Shirley Peterson. He is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to All Saints Lutheran Church or your favorite charity.
