Donald Raymond Winberg Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2025, at the age of 86, Donald Raymond Winberg (Cottage Grove, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Winberg (Marcuson) and Raymond Winberg; his wife Carolyn (Burt); and his brother-in-law Kenny Truax. He is survived by: his children, Jayne Chatterton (Chris) and Steven Winberg (Marleen Axtmann); his grandchildren, Kristi Walter (Jesse), Paul Chatterton (Heather), Alyssa Winberg, John Chatterton (Hannah), Michael Winberg (Jessica), Mark Bierbrauer, Dylan Bierbrauer (Evalyn) and Courtney Bierbrauer; his great grandchildren, Jax, Josephine, Nash, Emily, Brooks, Charles and August; his sister Leota Truax; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Burt, Robert Burt (Pat) and Mary Dettman (Wayne). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the All Saints Lutheran (8100 Belden Blvd, Cottage Grove, MN 55016). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers we ask that a donation be made to the St. Paul Park fire department who were there to escort Donald on his final call.
