He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nitz and Josephine Nitz; his grandchildren, Brianna and Cody; his siblings, Jane, Janice and Ronald; and his parents-in-law, Stephen and LaVina Reuter.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne; and his children, Dawn Crawford (Brian), Peter (Sheila), Allen (Brittney), Micheal and Lori Nitz. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
