We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Bette Jane Dilla of Cottage Grove, Minnesota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lt. Colonel Ivan and Marion Dimmick (Russell); her uncle Homer; her aunt Lee Dimmick; her grandson Graham Nelson; her brother Lt. Colonel Charles Dimmick; her nephew Todd Dilla; and her great-niece Tawnee Rose Nelson.
She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dick" Dilla; her children, Don (Suzanne), Beth Nelson (Darryl), Bob (Mary) and Mark (Lindsey); her grandchildren, Dane Nelson (Miranda), Drew Nelson (Jeannie), Grant Dilla, Parker Dilla (Han Zhao), Brian Dilla, Hailey Dilla, Hunter Dilla and Charlie Dilla; her great grandchildren, Leyna and Archie Nelson; her sisters, Priscilla Storch (Richard) and Kay Anderson (Paul); and her sister-in-law Phyllis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newport United Methodist (1596 11th Ave, Newport, MN 55055). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
