She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Heimer and Barbara Heimer (Schmitz); her husband Duane Christensen; her children, Bob (Therese), Steve (Jodi), Debi Huls (Steve Traut), Jane Sellberg (Dan), Sue and Misti Brown (Chad); her sisters, Kay Falvey (Tom) and Sharon Asmus (Paul); and her former husband John. She was also cherished by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
