Thomas Edward Ross Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Edward Ross of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on May 30, 2021 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Ross and Thomas Ross; and his sister Maria Ross. He is survived by: his children, Amy Barnard (Joshua Barnard), David Ross (Cassaundra Ross) and Julie Knight (Jonathan Knight); his grandchildren, Isaiah, Amariah, Halo, Katie, Isabell, Jonas and Theo; and his wife Kathy Ross (Valo).
All in attendance are asked to wear masks and a luncheon will not be provided.
He spent years developing a foundation in his Anishinaabe roots through active involvement in tribal meetings, teaching Ojibwe classes in the public school, and participating in personal interests surrounding Anishinaabe history and traditions.
