He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Brandenburg and Irene Brandenburg; his wife Sharen; and his parents-in-law, Minnie and John.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert II and Charles (Teresa); his grandchildren, Chase and Ivy; his siblings, Roy, Butch, Joe and Alice; and his sisters-in-law, Sue and Kathy.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church of the Epiphany (11001 Hanson Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55433). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
Donations made in lieu of flowers will be used to honor Robert by distributing equally among his favorite charities.
