He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanette Matt and Russell Matt; his sisters, Claris Jakobsen and Stevie Matt; and his in-laws, Violet and Archie Carruthers.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Green; his children, Shanna Green and Steve Green (Katie); his grandchildren, Koen and Logan; and his siblings, Cheri Okan, Linda Hanson, Marilyn Gaffney (Pat) and Chuck Matt. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
