Richard Weller Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Weller of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, born in Eureka, South Dakota, who passed away on October 30, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Weller and Emil Weller; his brother Thomas Weller; and his niece Kirsten Budwig (Cornish). He is survived by: his wife Audrey Cornish; his daughters, Mara Determan (John) of Kasson, MN, Christa Strenge of Andover, MN and Carla Johnson (Brent) of St. Augustine, FL; his grandchildren, Maia, Matthew, Brady, Halle, Von, Carolyn and Levi; his siblings, Barb Owens of Brainerd, MN, Jim Weller (Candy) of DeSmet, SD and Harry 'Whitey' Weller (Nancy) of Kadoka, SD; and his friend Craig DeLacey of Wyoming, MN.
The family welcomes donations to Zion Lutheran Church (Anoka, MN) or Holy Way Presbyterian Church (Tucson, AZ) as an expression of sympathy and in honor of Dick's life instead of flowers. At Dick's request, his body was donated to the University of Minnesota for the advancement of science and no formal funeral will occur.
