He was predeceased by: his parents, Kurt Lohse and Laura Lohse (Lade); his wife Judy Lohse (Langmaack); and his siblings, Paul, Harvey, Lloyd, Dale, Wally, Lyle, Roger, Betty, Darlene, Diane and Bernice.
He is survived by: his children, Becky Grabski of Phoenix, AZ, Todd Lohse (Deb) of Elbow Lake and Beth Kurz (Dave); his brother Bob (Suzie) of Elbow Lake; his sister-in-law Shirley Lohse of Isanti; his grandchildren, David, Kyle (Autumn), Michael (Lexi), Christopher (Joanna), Katie (Wyatt), Kelsey (Jake), Melisa (Dan) and Kelly Jo; and his brother-in-law Bob Langmaack (Rosanna). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
