He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ronald Ellsworth Gerritsen and Alice Bernice Lasker; his wife Marilyn Idun (Olson); his children, Laura Hinz and Tim Gerritsen; his sister Sue Howell (Rick); his daughters, Linda Bayliss (Jim) and Kathy Didling (Duayne); his son-in-law Al Hinz; and his grandchildren, Julie Davis (Tom), Chris Bayliss (Katie), Jenny Berry (Mark), Ashley Sargent (Trace), Jeremy Ammerman (Cindy), Luke Hinz (Mandy) and Cassie Johnson (Kerry). He was also cherished by 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great, great grandson.
