He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregory Perez and Emilia Perez; his siblings, Genevieve Arellano, Felicita Mejia, Antonia Martinez, Delores Kuchinski, Molly Adan, Gregory "George" Emil and John Perez; and his sons, Peter, John and Paul Perez, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his children, Christine "Tina" Baker, Antonio "Tony" Arellano (Sandra), Raymond Arellano (Rita), Linda Johnson (Larry), Marie Perez, Virgina Ollestad (Jeff), Theresa "Cynthia" Lieske (Richard), Phillip Perez, Ann Stewart (Russell) and Steven Perez (Tammy); and his daughter-in-law Dawn Perez. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
