He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey McMahon and Elfreda McMahon; his brothers, Jay and Dale; and his siblings-in-law, Beverly and Warren Bossmann.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Johnson); his sons, Timothy (Denice) and Tom (Ann); his grandchildren, Kayla, Nathan, Jacob and Angela; and his sisters, Vivian Bossmann, Pearl Jensen (Don) and Marlys Janke (Roger). He is also survived by many relatives and good friends.
