She was predeceased by: her aunt Christiane Fech; her brother-in-law Dan Erickson; and her father-in-law Marvin Erickson. She is survived by: her parents, Konrad Mauersberger and Bärbel Mauersberger; her husband Kevin Erickson; her daughters, Katie and Laura; her sister Kristina Mauersberger (Tim Anderson); and her siblings-in-law, Dave Erickson (Miriam), Kathy Powley (Dan) and Heather Erickson.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Coon Rapids Evangelical Free Church (2650 128th Ave NW, Minneapolis, MN 55448). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of sending flowers, memorial gifts can be made in Marion's name to Feed My Starving Children where she volunteered many hours.
