It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Rose Prahl in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, born in Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Terrance; her parents, Dora and Mervin; her son-in-law Bill Siler (Faith); her sisters, Karen, Wendi and Mona; her siblings-in-law, Gene, Roger, Brian and Sharon; her parents-in-law, Eileen and Hugo; and her grandson Alex Hanson (Jen).
She is survived by: her daughters, Faith Siler, Lori Lawson, Kari Packa (Mark) and Lisa LaBay (Bill); and her pets, Lily and Penny. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sunset Funeral Home (2250 St Anthony Blvd, Minneapolis, MN 55418). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
While at Homestead, she crocheted many items such as sweaters, hats, blankets, and leggings for The Potatohead Project, a charity for premature babies.
