He was predeceased by: his parents, Eckter Brown and Lucinda Brown (Litzau); his son Ken; his sisters, Elaine, JoAnne and Karen; his former wife Betty Rae (Bender); his daughter Deborah Rae; his sons-in-law, Darel Burt and Arnold Hashman; his son Grant Sims; his son-in-law George Shackelford; his granddaughter Amanda Shackelford; and his great grandchild Logan Hashman.
He is survived by: his wife Elvera "Jean" (Hicks); and his grandchildren, Gail Ledoux (Chuck), Lois Franzky (Peter), Mike Brown (Linda), Mary Hashman, Mark Brown, Diane DeBoe (Joe), Joan Sims, Nancy Shackelford, Rob Sims (Cathy), Gena Edmiston (Tom), Russ Sims (Martha), Robert Hicks (Patricia) and Linda Pourpasand (Robert). He is also survived by great- great-grandchildren along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
