She was predeceased by: her father Cecil Strand; and her brother Kurt Strand. She is survived by: her mother Romayne "Yedda" Strand; her siblings, John Strand (Cathy) and Cheryl Strand; her brother-in-law Kurt (Becky Strand); her nieces and nephews, Brooke, Madison, Olivia Strand, Leah Schultz (Travis), Joshua Hancock (Denisa) and Caleb; and her pet Sneezy. She is also survived by 8 grandnieces and nephews.
