He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Gwin and Nora Gwin (Stucker); his wife Adeline Matson; his daughter Sharon; his children-in-law, Viv, Phillip Blaede and Ronald Stone; his children, Sandra Stone-Schaaf (Jerry), Claudia Doroshuk (Walter), Richard Gwin, Randal Gwin (Ronae) and Rachelle Gwin; and his sister Joyce Matson. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren as well as many great-grandchildren and extended family.
Their marriage was an example of great love as Joe lovingly cared for Adeline when she suffered Alzheimer's in the last years of her life.
