He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Katie Sue Frank; his parents, Gertrude Rose and Russell Lausen; his siblings, James Lausen (Evie), Marge Meyer, Arthur and Thomas Lausen; and his sister-in-law Beverly Lehmann.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, John P Lausen, Timothy Lausen (Shelly), Christopher Lausen and Jane Miller (Mike); his brothers, Russell (Bonnie) and Gerald (Judy); his sisters-in-law, Marjorie and Beverly Lausen; and his grandchildren, Angela (Geoff), Andrew (Emily), Amy (James) and Molly. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to a charity of the donor's choice.
