It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Leo Schwartz of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on March 6, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Duane Leo Schwartz to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Schwartz and Dolores Schwartz; and his sister Mary. He is survived by: his wife Margie (Yaeger); his children, Heidi, Kari Shotley (Chris) and Nate (Debbie); his grandchildren, Cole and Reese Shotley; his sister Esther Freitag (Alan); his siblings-in-law, Mary Yaeger and Len Yaeger (Lynn Eggers); his nephews, Michael Yaeger (Jen Jochim), Matt Yaeger (Carmen Gretton) and Chris Freitag (Kris); and his niece Karin Duncan (Scott). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are preferred. Donations will be made in Duane's name to the Gary Sinise Foundation.
