We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2024, at the age of 60, David Robert Austin of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though David Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joan Austin and Lloyd Austin of Coon Rapids, MN.; and his sister Debra Humrick. He is survived by: his brother Daniel Austin; his brother-in-law Mike Humrick; his niece Brianna Austin (Shawn); his nephew Andrew Treichel (Penni); his grandsons, Zayn Treichel and Elliot Kosloski; his former wife Cheryl Freese; and his nephews, Jon Dolinich (Larisa) and Scott Humrick (Sarah). He is also survived by Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (20 Northdale Blvd NW, Minneapolis, MN 55448). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
