He was predeceased by: his mother Rosemary Binczik. He is survived by: his wife Joanie Binczik; his children, Jason Binczik (Sara Enfield) and Elizabeth Binczik (Matthew Barber); and his siblings, Anne Marie Binczik and Gerald Binczik (Susan Booth-Binczik).

In lieu of flowers, Dave asked that donations be made to Planned Parenthood or other women's rights organizations, LGBTQ+ organizations, and Black Lives Matter.
