It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David James Plante of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on November 30, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Laurie Jean Columbus; and his parents, John Thomas Plante and Josephine Plante (Wolfe). He is survived by: his children, Casey (Megan) and Katherine (Adam); his grandchildren, Asher, Esme, Annastasia, Sebastian and Rosalie; and his siblings, John Plante (Lynda), Joseph Plante (Jill) and Mary Carhill (Mike).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen's Catholic Church (525 Jackson St, Anoka, MN 55303). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Catholic Medical Mission Board (cmmb.org).
