He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Limanen and Hazel Limanen; and his siblings, Beverlee, Elsie and Richard.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanette L. Ahlman; his children, Michael (Kathleen), Timothy, Brian (Brooke) and Karen Opp (Craig); his grandchildren, Brittany (Austin), Grace, Bradley, Morgan, Gage, Analise and Briggs; his great grandchildren, Xavier and Wade; his brother Jack (RuthAnn); and his siblings-in-law, Les Stephenson and Kathy Niska Limanen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and brothers and sisters.
