He was predeceased by: his parents, Ford Nichols and Helen Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Christine Kelly, Timothy Nichols (Patty), Susan Jansma, Ellen Lendt (Matt) and Stephen Nichols (Jeanne); and his siblings, Doris Reed and Jimmy Nichols. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.
