He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick "Swede" Lindgren and Anna Lindgren Balik (Krans); his son John Lindgren; and his grandsons, James and Joshua Lindgren.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Lindgren of Coon Rapids, MN; his children, Jennifer Syverson (Keven) of River Falls, WI and Jeffrey Lindgren (Keely) of Brooklyn Park, MN; his grandchildren, Alaina, Jared, Erin, Theo Syverson, John, Aidan, Owen and Audree Lindgren; and his brothers, Douglas Lindgren (Colleen) of Bagley, MN and Marc Lindgren of Fosston, MN.
